Sketch 39 of 48 looks great as a “first” ending for the new version of the game. Taken could be struggling, breasts bouncing, and the lampreys could be moving around. For the “second” death, the lampreys could be chomping on her, just as they are in the current version.
If you’ve played the new version of Tomb Raider, Lara dies in lots of gruesome ways if you fail, so this kind of thing is hardly out of order for an animated/video game.
I look forward to any new games you develop, and to more comics stuff. Great to see you working here again.

I really like your sketch number 39 for the Xyla Assault bad ending. It’s in the same vein as Lamprey Stand-off. That scene (39)could be for the first failure, with Taken struggling, the lampreys closing in (animated), and then one with the lampreys actually striking/biting her for the second failure.
I wouldn’t worry about that being too gruesome. Have you played the 2013 version of Tomb Raider? Lara dies in lots of bloody ways if you fail in that video game.
Anyhow, looking forward to the new stuff. The final examination sketch is great too.
Well, something about your style with Taken always reminded me of him, with the cut of the hair, the black hair, and the fact Taken has a head on her shoulders and moxie that just comes through in your style so well, those things remind me a bit of Nagel’s style, even if the drawing lines may be a bit different (you tend to be very, very good at shading and detail, for instance, especially in black and white. Nagel had a way of often using relatively few lines but accomplishing quite a visual feel with them, as you say.) Something about the lines and colors of that last drawing really reminded me of his work though.

I need to think about Patrick Nagel, that is interesting. Right away, I appreciate the few lines he is using.

I really like the cave girl sketch. I can see her in all kinds of trouble with great apes, lizard men, etc., and I have a specific kind of trouble in mind. And with the cave guys too.
Anyhow, good to see the new stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Damn, that’s a badass looking minefield drawing. Playing off the scene from Alien? The tentacles look frickin evil, and I love the gunsmoke effects. Hope you have more coming down the pipe.
Thanks. I was retouching an alien ship scene and its hard to beat “Alien” for creepy nasty things.

not sure if this is the right place to comment, but there seem to be pages missing from the tentacle planet comic, any idea on when those missing pages will be up?
I am considering them as characters for a small game. Along the lines of Human Vs Ape or Reptiles. At minimum I should get a few illustrations from it. Still thinking on the details.

I will try to find the latest for the weekend. That arc is not complete so I have some work to do on the direction.
